If you want to travel in China, keep in your mind that there are several diffirent class of trains and diffirent class of seats even in the same train.

| When travelling in the UK, it is often cheaper to buy combinations of tickets, e.g. for a trip between Newcastle and Edinburgh, buy a return from Newcastle to Berwick, and another for Berwick to Edinburgh. You can check fares on http://www.thetrainline.com before you go, or even purchase tickets from there if you live in the UK. Book as far ahead as possible and try to travel off-peak - this usually results in significantly cheaper tickets. |
